Mei Sims MA, LMHC, LPC
With more than 17 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Psychotherapist, I have had the privilege of serving individuals, couples, and families in the Seattle and Houston areas, as well as internationally. In addition to my clinical practice, I am a state-certified Clinical Supervisor, providing mentorship and professional guidance to clinicians within my collaborative group.
My passion is helping clients develop healthier relationships, strengthen emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
My areas of expertise include relationship counseling, family dynamics, cross-cultural and bicultural relationships, and bridging generational differences between parents and children. I enjoy helping couples improve communication, navigate cultural differences, and build stronger, more fulfilling partnerships. Using family system, I also accept children age 12 and above.
I also integrate evidence-based psychotherapy with a somatic, holistic approach. Drawing on my passion for fitness &mind-body health, I help clients manage stress, regulate their nervous system, restore healthy circadian rhythms, improve sleep quality, &enhance their overall physical&emotional wellness.
